Continua la collaborazione tra il liceo linguistico "Cattaneo-Dall'Aglio" e Redacon tramite la rubrica "Speakeasy" curata direttamente dagli studenti dell'anno 2021-2022.
On October 4th Valorugby president Enrico Grassi and coach Roberto Manghi came to the school gym to meet the students of Cattaneo dall’Aglio. They want to introduce their Rugby Team to teenagers to invite them to try and join in, stimulating them to learn about a new sport.
The name of Reggio Emilia’s Rugby team is Valorugby.This team had never been so successful before Enrico Grassi became its president.Since his arrival the players have had a remarkable growth by winning an Italian cup for the first time in 2019.
Rugby is a physical contact sport and is suitable for everyone.Apparently this sport may look simple but actually it takes a lot of discipline and intelligence because there are many rules to follow. A match can work well only if there is union between the players.One of the most important aspects of this game is that there is no disrespect towards opposing fans, as it often happens in football.
For the president of Valorugby it is essential that the players of his team have a job or continue their studies in addition to sport. That’s why he hires many young people in his electronics companies and offers scholarships. In order not to overshadow ethical values, they have decided to recognise a prize for members of the team who show good behaviour (participation in training, good academic performance…) The prizes are Amazon vouchers that can be spent in categories related to culture: Music, Books, Electronics, and Sports.
Valorugby team awaits you in Reggio Emilia to join the team and also offers a transport service from Castelnovo to Reggio for all training sessions.The matches take place on Saturdays at the Mirabello Stadium and are open to everyone. This meeting was particularly aimed at boys, however a women's team could also be formed, if the number of interested girls were high.
We believe that this project is really exciting and useful to give us, mountain teenagers, an opportunity to broaden our horizons by learning about a different sport that we don't hear much about.It was also an opportunity to get to know Enrico Grassi, who really invests and believes in the possibilities of our Apennines.

La squadra Valorugby incontra Cattaneo-Dall'Aglio
Il 4 ottobre il presidente di Valorugby Enrico Grassi e l'allenatore Roberto Manghi sono venuti nella palestra della scuola per incontrare gli allievi del Cattaneo-Dall'Aglio. Lo scopo era presentare la loro squadra di rugby agli adolescenti per invitarli a provare e a farne parte, stimolandoli a conoscere un nuovo sport.
Il nome della squadra di Rugby di Reggio Emilia è Valorugby. Questa squadra non aveva mai avuto tanto successo prima che Enrico Grassi ne diventasse presidente. Dal suo arrivo i giocatori hanno avuto una crescita notevole vincendo per la prima volta una Coppa Italia nel 2019.
Il rugby è uno sport di contatto fisico ed è adatto a tutti. Apparentemente questo sport può sembrare semplice ma in realtà ci vuole molta disciplina ed intelligenza perché ci sono tante regole da seguire. Una partita può funzionare bene solo se c'è unione tra i giocatori. Uno degli aspetti più importanti di questo gioco è che non c’è mancanza di rispetto verso i tifosi avversari come spesso accade nel calcio.
Per il presidente del Valorugby è fondamentale che i giocatori della sua squadra abbiano un lavoro o proseguano gli studi oltre allo sport. Ecco perché assume molti giovani nelle sue aziende di elettronica e offre borse di studio. Per non mettere in ombra i valori etici, hanno deciso di riconoscere un premio ai membri della squadra che mostrano un buon comportamento(partecipazione agli allenamenti, buon rendimento scolastico...).I premi sono buoni Amazon spendibili nelle categorie legate alla cultura: musica, libri, elettronica e sport.
Valorugby ti aspetta a Reggio Emilia per entrare a far parte della squadra e offre anche un servizio di trasporto da Castelnovo a Reggio per tutte le sessioni di allenamento. Le partite si svolgono il sabato allo Stadio Mirabello e sono aperte a tutti. Questo incontro era in particolare rivolto ai ragazzi, tuttavia si potrebbe formare anche una squadra femminile, se il numero di ragazze interessate fosse alto.
Riteniamo che questo progetto sia stato molto appassionante e utile per dare a noi, adolescenti della montagna, l'opportunità di ampliare i nostri orizzonti imparando a conoscere uno sport diverso di cui si parla poco. È stata anche l'occasione per conoscere Enrico Grassi, che investe e crede davvero nelle possibilità del nostro Appennino.
